Review: So far this series consists of three lovely parts ("Where Roses Bloom", "Each Kiss an Inspiration" and "A Song that Will Not Die") that can be read as standalone stories, but that make a wonderful epic story of romance and trust and getting together and building a life together and all of that written beautifully.

The getting together parts happen around the time that Peggy is on the run from the SRR and Angie goes to some length to help her hide and that reveals both more about Peggy and about Angie's life and "interests". The romance is really sweet and I like how the period setting is used to explore some of the issues that came with a lesbian love story at that time in New York. And I appreciate very much how the past romance with Steve is addressed and handled. that felt very real to me.

In the latest installments we also get a bit more of the danger that surround Peggy's occupation crashing in on the idyllic relationship and that is also done very well. Keeping the episode style "case" in line with canon isn't always the easiest thing to do, but I love it when my romance goes out of the way to incorporate "adventure" instead of solely focusing on the romance and this did it perfectly.

Usually I'm not much about the lovemaking parts to break up the plot in longer fic, but, wow, here the love making is always super sweet and hot and very, very lovely to read and that's a real treat.
