Author's Summary: When dot com billionaire Rodney McKay learns that his soon-to-be-ex-wife, the beautiful and brilliant Samantha Carter, has taken up with a new man, he resolves to come between them any way he can. Can Rodney use his manly powers of seduction to lure handsome John Sheppard out of his wife's bed and into his? And, most importantly, who will get custody of the cat in the divorce?
The majority of the SGA fandom, and the script writers for that matter, believe that Rodney pretty much sucks when it comes to heterosexual relationships (i.e. the hotness of having a genius explaining the beauty of the universe created by eleven vibrating strings only goes so far). Fortunately, some of us are really here for the McShep.
In this universe, Rodney, after numerous failed attempts to save his marriage with Samantha Carter, decides that seducing Samantha's new gardener-cum-boyfriend is his best option. Little does he know that the said boyfriend is not a gardener nor is he straight. Rodney is clueless and John plays hard to get. And there is a happy ending with lots of fun along the way.
