To earn Ryan’s forgiveness after a fight, Chad agrees to dance in the Fall Musicale. As time passes they grow close together and develop a relationship, though a misunderstanding threatens to pull them apart.

In the author's own words, this involves "scheming, singing, dancing, cunning plans, wacky misunderstandings, small girls in leotards, boykissing, banter, musical reconciliation, and something resembling a plot." The characters are beautifully written and the development of the relationship between Chad and Ryan is sweet and utterly believable.
