Review:
Vin and Ezra are secretly in love with each other. After Ezra has a nightmare, the boys discover their mutual feelings and enter into a relationship.

I realize the summary doesn't sound particularly exciting, but bear with me a moment. The story really starts to shine once Vin and Ezra settle into an established, surprisingly domestic relationship and Katherine gets into the drama that the bulk of the story covers. This isn't a story filled with misunderstandings and pitfalls between lovers (Vin and Ezra's relationship is almost idealized and schmoopy) but deals rather with the external forces that challenge the pair – namely, Ezra's past and the reactions of the other five men.

There is a bit of martyr!Ezra if you enjoy that dynamic – you get your angsty past, poor self-esteem, and misunderstood by others – but the strongest point of the story is the care Katherine takes with the others' reactions. She spends time on each character individually and the responses run the gamut from immediate acceptance to outright hostility.

All in all, a sweet story that pays more than just lip service to the difficulties in coming out to friends (especially in the old west!). Also, a good introductory story to familiarize new readers to the Seven.
